Who We Are

We publish professional literature and resources for Australian educators and teachers. We support teachers in their learning and their teaching. We bring authors, designers and editors together to create. We work with partners to print and distribute our creations. We do this together.

‘I’ve always worked in education. I started as university tutor, and then lecturer, before joining, and later managing, a teacher professional association. I crossed over to education publishing, working in marketing, professional development and research, before becoming a Publishing Editor for secondary school student resources. I was involved in over 100 schools textbooks across a range of learning areas. More recently, I was a Commissioning Editor for, among other things, Initial Teacher Education subjects. Small Caps Publishing is a way of combining my knowledge of education policy, pedagogy and teaching with my publishing experience. It brings together the creative and the practical in a new way. Small Caps enables me to do the things I enjoy while I contribute to the teaching profession and student learning in new ways.’
